Daughter
of renown Russian oil painting artist,
Kallinik Gousseff and Olga Haecker, a
German pianist and performer.
An accomplished
pianist, Luba graduated with Honours from
the highly respected Frank Marshall Music
Academie in Barcelona, Spain, where she
spent ten years in intensive study and
training. In the United States, Luba attended
the National Guild of Pianists and Music
Teachers, and recieved a Graduate Artist
Diploma.
Luba
has performed in Barcelona, Madrid, the
University of Tubingen in Germany, Cal
State University in Los Angeles, the L.A.Press
Club, Music Teacher's Associations in
L.A. and for various organizations in
Barcelona and California.
Luba
extended her passion for music and the
arts to the beautiful world of ballroom
dancing. Luba eagerly learned the various
social dances at Arthur Murray Dance Studio,
and quickly becames a certified Ballroom
Dance Instructor. Naturally, Luba then
became an Arthur Murray Franchise Owner
in Pasadena, CA.
When
introduced to the Argentine Tango by world
renowned dance instructor Felix Chavez,
Luba immediately fell in love with this
rich and expressive dance. Luba currently
organizes Argentine Tango Dances, in Costa
Mesa, CA, and in Los Angeles, CA, where
she co-hosts with Felix Chavez. Luba's
love for music and dance grows deeper
with every movement she dances and with
every musical note she plays.
